I stay very busy in the Frederick, Warren, and northern Shenandoah County area and very respectfully do not take on any work elsewhere.

Also, after a lifetime in construction and rotator cuff surgery, I can no longer take on any job where the work will be more than 6 feet above the ground.

Many of the bigger jobs (particularly the bigger renovation jobs) have become more than I can comfortably take on as well.

As always, I build decks only – no roofs at all.

Renovating your Existing Deck

In many cases renovating an existing deck can be a very practical and cost efficient alternative to replacing it. Often the area of the deck that is exposed to the sun will appear very damaged while the structural frame that is shaded below will be in perfectly acceptable condition. Replacing the flooring and rail along with “tightening up” the framing will often give you essentially a brand new deck.
