I stay very busy in the Frederick, Warren, and northern Shenandoah County area and very respectfully do not take on any work elsewhere.
Also, after a lifetime in construction and rotator cuff surgery, I can no longer take on any job where the work will be more than 6 feet above the ground.
The time is finally coming; this year (2026), I plan on slowing down dramatically, with something like retirement coming in the next few years. With that said, I will no longer be welcoming the “challenging” jobs that I once craved. Many of the bigger jobs (particularly the bigger renovation jobs) have become more than I can comfortably take on and I’ll have to very regretfully and respectfully decline to bid on those.
As always, I build decks only – no roofs at all.
